Wahid Bhat is a Co-Founder/ Editor of Press Trust Of Kashmir (www.Presstrustofkashmir.com). Wahid Bhat is a journalist with experience of working in different media organisations like daily times also done internship with Zing Tv. He reports on education and social issues, Politics, Human Rights, Health and Environment. People accuse journalism of being too personal; but to me it has always seemed far too impersonal. It is charged with tearing away the veils from private life; but it seems to me to be always dropping diaphanous but blinding veils between men and men. The Yellow Press is abused for exposing facts which are private; I wish the Yellow Press did anything so valuable. It is exactly the decisive individual touches that it never gives; and a proof of this is that after one has met a man a million times in the newspapers it is always a complete shock and reversal to meet him in real life It should be apparent that the belief in objectivity in journalism, as in other professions, is not just a claim about what kind of knowledge is reliable. It is also a moral philosophy, a declaration of what kind of thinking one should engage in, in making moral decisions. It is, moreover, a political commitment, for it provides a guide to what groups one should acknowledge as relevant audiences for judging one's own thoughts and acts. Journalism classes teach us that one must extract oneself from the story in order to report without bias, but often we need to be in the story in order to understand, to connect, to help the audience identify or else it has no heart; it could be a robot telling the story, for all anyone cares (Not every teenager who is depressed or going through anxiety is crying over some breakup. Some actually have real life problems)

Raja Syed is Central Bureau head. Earlier he has worked with state based news wire as reporter. Journalism without a moral position is impossible. Every journalist is a moralist. It's absolutely unavoidable. A journalist is someone who looks at the world and the way it works, someone who takes a close look at things every day and reports what she sees, someone who represents the world, the event, for others. She cannot do her work without judging what she sees.

Aroosa Rafiq is a media students from Kashmir, student of Women college Srinagar, Kashmir. She is working with Press Trust of Kashmir. Journalism can never be silent: That is its greatest virtue and its greatest fault. It must speak, and speak immediately, while the echoes of wonder, the claims of triumph and the signs of horror are still in the air
